The suspects dress themselves as a manual labor person, wearing some sort of construction type of clothing. They ask – typically homeless people – to cash a check for them. Then, offer the person cashing the check a portion of the funds for their time. 

However, the check is fraudulent. 

If anyone approaches you looking to cash a check on their behalf, your red flags should go up and be on alert. Do not engage.
